Sales Manager

XMA’s Sales Manager is an essential player in the success and sustainability of XMA’s existing and
future business. The incumbent is responsible for identifying and implementing effective sales
strategies, managing and developing the sales team, proactive customer management, and driving
revenue growth.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  1. Create and execute a strategic sales plan that meets our Company’s sales objectives and sales
    targets.
  2. Lead, mentor, and motivate sales team to ensure quotas are met.
  3. Work with the marketing team to manage the Company’s CRM to nurture leads and retain
    customers.
  4. Prepares, promotes, and attends annual industry tradeshows.
  5. Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, emerging customer needs, gauge
    competition, and stay abreast of industry trends.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and enforce
    corrective actions.
  7. Collaborates and manages sale representative relationships by monitoring performance, setting
    goals, and identifying marketable products that align with their territory and customer base.
  8. Work with the finance department to develop and manage the sales budget and ensure that
    expenses meet budgetary needs.
  9. Manages the distribution channel by managing point of sales, inventory analytics, forecasting
    and achieving monthly distribution orders.
  10. Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has direct supervisory responsibilities. The incumbent must be able to build and
    maintain effective and credible relationships with key stakeholders and across all areas of the
    organization.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The
    employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach
    with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to lift to 30 pounds at times.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 50%-60% of the time.

Required Education and/or Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five to seven years of related sales experience; leadership experience preferred.

Equipment/Software:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in CRM Software.
  • Proficiency in ERP Software; Infor CloudSuite preferred.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Due to the nature of our business some positions may require US Citizenship.
  • Employment is contingent upon the completion of background check, satisfactory to XMA Corporation,
